Indian agates, fused glass, and broken arrowheads are tinned together with solder in this picture. The solder hasn't been "beaded up" yet.

From the beginning I made a conscience decision to not alter the artifacts and use them in the lamp just as I found them.

Different water levels of the river has washed the fragments around but otherwise the shapes of the agate pieces are just as they fell to the ground as the stone tool was being created hundreds, or even thousands of years ago.

I generally don't like wide solder lines, but since so many pieces are unaltered - and the lamp is more a mosaic wire sculpture then a Tiffany styled lamp - the lines don't look bad and once beaded up and small pieces put over the tree branches in the design the lamp will look much more finished then in this photo.
